ASME B16.11 Threaded Tee | Manufacturer & Supplier
We are a leading manufacturer and exporter of ASME B16.11 Threaded Tees in carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and nickel alloys. Our forged threaded tees are widely used for high-pressure and small-bore piping systems where a leak-proof threaded connection is required.
We supply Equal Threaded Tees and Reducing Threaded Tees, manufactured as per ASME B16.11 and threaded according to ASME B1.20.1 (NPT / BSP).
ASME B16.11 Threaded Tee
A threaded tee is a forged fitting used to create a 90° branch connection from the main pipeline. It is used in systems where welding is not suitable or where easy installation and disassembly are required.
- Available as Equal or Reducing tee
- Thread types: NPT, BSPP, BSPT
- Pressure Ratings: Class 2000 / 3000 / 6000
- Ideal for high-pressure and small-diameter pipelines (≤ 4″)

Dimension of ASME B16.11 Threaded Tee
In terms of specifications and dimensions, ASME B16.11 carbon steel threaded tee range from 1/8″ to 4″, with pressure ratings divided into Class 2000, Class 3000, and Class 6000, and can be adapted to various pipe diameters for connection. At the same time, the standard also has clear requirements for thread forms, with the commonly used being NPT (American Standard Cone Pipe Thread), which has good sealing properties and can effectively prevent fluid leakage, ensuring the normal operation of pipeline systems.

Tolerance of Threaded Pipe Fittings
The tolerance range is an important indicator for measuring the manufacturing accuracy of pipe fittings, and the ASME B16.11 standard has strict regulations on this. In terms of dimensional tolerances, for key dimensions such as the outer diameter, inner diameter, and length of the main and branch pipes of a three-way valve, the tolerance range is usually controlled within a small range to ensure the connection between the pipe fittings and the pipeline. In terms of thread tolerance, following the ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standard ensures that the thread profile, pitch, and other parameters meet the requirements, improving the reliability and sealing of threaded connections.
