ATK 24.200.02-90 blind flange is a round disc with bolt holes,with raise face or flat face to block the flow in the pipeline.
ATK 24.200.02-90 Blind flange can be made of below materials
- Carbon Steel CT-20 (equivalent to ASTM A105),09T2C Low temperature
- Stainless Steel 12X18H10T; S10X17H13M2T;SS304/L,SS316/L,904L
- Alloy steel ; 15X5M
The ATK 24.200.02-90 standard defines 5 designs for blind flanges:
- Design 1: Flanges with a connecting protrusion for nominal pressure from 0.6 to 4.0 MPa (6 to 40 kgf/cm²).
- Design 2: Flanges with a protrusion for nominal pressure from 1.0 to 6.3 MPa (10 to 63 kgf/cm²).
- Design 3: Flanges with a spigot for nominal pressure from 0.6 to 6.3 MPa (6 to 63 kgf/cm²), except for gasket surface dimensions for fluoroplastic gaskets, which must correspond to those specified in Table 17.
- Design 4: Flanges with a gasket of oval cross-section for nominal pressure from 6.3 to 16.0 MPa (63 to 160 kgf/cm²).
- Design 5: Flanges with a recess for nominal pressure of 4.0 MPa (40 kgf/cm²).
