En 1092-1 Flange and DIN standard

Before EN 1092-1, Germany used DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) standards for flanges, such as:

DIN 2573 / 2576 (Plate flanges)

DIN 2633 / 2634 / 2635 (Welding neck flanges)

DIN 2527 (Blind flanges)

EN 1092-1 consolidates and replaces these older DIN standards while maintaining similar dimensions and pressure ratings. It ensures compatibility across Europe and with international systems.
