What Is C12200 / TP2 Copper?
C12200 (TP2) is a high-purity copper alloy containing a small amount of phosphorus, which provides:
- Excellent weldability and brazability
- High thermal and electrical conductivity
- Good corrosion resistance
- Resistance to hydrogen embrittlement
- Long service life
TP2 or C12200 is also known as Cu-DHP in EN grade,whichis a phosphorus-deoxidized copper with a limited, high amount of residual Phosphorus.
Cu DHP refers to (Deoxidized High Phosphorus) copper. our C12200 tubes are widely used in heat exchangers, refrigeration systems, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial piping due to their excellent corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity, and weldability.
C12200 Phosphorus deoxidized, high residual phosphorus can be produced according to ASTM B75.
