GOST 33259-2015 is a Russian Standard,Flanges for valves, fittings and pipelines for pressure to PN 250. Design, dimensions and general technical requirements

This standard applies to connecting flanges of valves, fittings and pipelines as well as those of machinery, equipment, instruments, plants and vessels for nominal pressure up to PN 250 and establishes the design and dimensions of steel and cast iron flanges, defines flange types, flange facing types, and technical requirements for manufacture, marking, testing and inspection. The standard provides guidelines for selection of materials for flanges and fasteners for flange connections as well as for selection of flange facing type depending on the hazard level and fluid parameters. Flanges for other facilities, parameters and conditions are subject to GOST 1536, GOST 4433, GOST 9399, GOST 25660, GOST 28759.1 through GOST 28759.5, GOST R 52630.

About Gost 33259 Type -1 Flanges

GOST 33259-2015 Type 01 Flat Weld flanges (plate flanges per GOST 12820-80) in sizes DN 15–DN 2000 and pressure classes PN 6, 10, 16, 25, 40. Available in carbon steel (CT-20) and stainless steels (SS304/L ,SS321,SS316/L) for reliable pipeline connections.
