DIN 2573 Standard
DIN 2573 is a German standard for plain (plate) flanges intended for welding onto pipes in low-pressure applications.
DIN 2573 has been technically replaced by EN 1092-1 Type 01 PN6.However, DIN 2573 is still widely used in industry due to legacy systems.
Standard Name: DIN 2573 – Circular flanges made of steel – for welding – PN6
Flange Type: Plate Flange (Flat Flange), also called Type 01 according to EN 1092-1
Nominal Pressure: PN6 (6 bar)
Connection Type: Butt-welded to pipe
Face Type: Flat Face (FF)
Design: No raised face, used in low-pressure systems
